The collective, founded in 2017, accompanies the Get Together with an eclectic mix of roots reggae and dub, including mixes by Lee "Scratch" Perry. With varying compositions, Alpine Roots Massive sometimes plays with bassoon, trumpet, flute, or saxophone, but always with a mixing console as a central element.
