What is space, who shapes it, and whose concerns are visible in it? More specifically, for example, which monuments in public settings actually represent diversity? Why are safe spaces needed? How do gendered stereotypes constrain the spaces in our heads—and how does all this affect the ways in which we approach art in the museum? The single-gallery exhibition Generator #3: Queering Space! invites a discussion of queer perspectives that also speak to the themes of the surrounding presentation from the collection.
