In Esben Weile Kjær’s performance, contemporary dance meets experimental electronic music with a soulful punk attitude—the result is a spectacular, dark solo. Instead of posing for the viewers, the male dancer is closely surrounded by a group of teenage ballerinas who appear to be rather disinterested.
