Thalia Hoffman and Manar Zuabi address the intersection of art and social-political resistance to violence and racism in their separate practices. In this conversation they will discuss their works shown within the scope of the artistic intervention at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg and reflect upon the challenges of collaborating in the context of their course at the Summer Academy and beyond. Their talk will address the complexity of heterogeneous artistic expressions in today’s challenging contexts and discuss how collaboration can give room to conflictual conversations and encourage co-resistance, responding to the responsibilities of artists in spaces marked by violence and loss.
