Take the stairs on Toscaninihof (behind the Festival Hall) up to the Mönchsberg. The Museum der Moderne Salzburg at the Mönchsberg can be reached by a 15-minute-walk.
By public transport
Take the bus no. 1, 8, 10, 22, 23 und 27 to MönchsbergAufzug Lift. Behind the busstation you will find the entrance to the MönchsbergAufzug Lift which will take you to the museum.
By car
You can park your car in the underground car park Altstadtgarage A, then take the exit MönchsbergAufzug/Haus der Natur to the MönchsbergAufzug Lift on Anton-Neumayr-Platz.

By public transport
Take the bus no. 1, 8, 10, 22, 23 und 27 to Herbert-von-Karajanplatz. Walk along the Hofstallgasse and the Festival Hall and you will reach the museum. It is a three-minute walk.
Take the bus no. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 25, 27 und 28 to Rathaus. Cross Alter Markt, turn right at the Café Tomaselli and then left into Sigmund-Haffner-Gasse to the museum. It is a five-minute walk.
Take the bus no. 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27 und 28 to Ferdinand-Hanusch-Platz. Walk into Getreidegasse and through an archway to Universitätsplatz, then walk along Wiener-Philharmoniker-Gasse to the museum. It is a five-minute walk.
By car
Park your car in the underground car park Altstadtgarage B inside the Mönchsberg. Take the exit Toscaninihof, cross Toscaninihof and you are right in front of the museum.
